Organized by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), University of Oxford, and the Ministry of Social Development of Panama, the regional workshop will be held in Panama City, from March 25 to 29, 2019. Deadline to apply to the workshop: January 18, 2019.

On 7 March, 2018, the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN) hosted a side event at the 49thUnited Nations Statistical Commission on “Disaggregating the Multidimensional Poverty Index to Break Silos of Poverty”. More than 60 statisticians, economists and other stakeholders gathered on a snowy night in New York, when most other events had ended, to discuss progress and issues with developing and implementing multidimensional poverty measures to reduce poverty and encourage policies that leave no one behind.
The 5th Annual Meeting of the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN), held in Beijing China from 9-11 October 2017, was hosted by the International Poverty Reduction Centre in China (IPRCC) and the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), with generous support from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
