The annual update of the global Multidimensional Poverty Index took place on the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty with the live online launch event of the report: Global Multidimensional Poverty Index 2022: Unpacking deprivation bundles to reduce multidimensional poverty.

This year we are excited to introduce the ‘MPPN Dialogues’ a knowledge exchange space organised by the MPPN and OPHI that will engage countries and international organisations in reflections about the technical and policy issues around the use of Multidimensional Poverty Indices.

12 October 2022 – Register now to join the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the live launch of the annual update of the global Multidimensional Poverty Index on 17th October 2022 at 10am EDT. The online launch this year is timed to contribute to global advocacy on poverty reduction during the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (IDEP).
